Which of these shifters do you think is better? Where can I find the best deals on either of these two?

Tri-Ax or Pro 5.0 Shifter advise

there is a thread for ya, might help ya out with some info. but it pretty much comes down to a personal preference. they are both good shifters. i've got the pro 5.0 and it works great.

pro 50 is notchier and more heavy duty
tri-ax is smoother and sexier

The Pro 5.0 also places 3rd and 5th almost out of reach unless you sit in a position where you hug the steering wheel like a little old lady. I'm only 6'0" and where I sit with my seat, 3rd and 5th are almost out of reach. So I bought a new handle that is adjustable to fix this. Otherwise, the shifting action is great with the 5.0.

you will be happy with either one. Like everyone else said, Pro 5.0 might need a little modification on its handle..

i am 6'3" and have no problems with reaching 3rd or 5th with my pro 5.0 shifter. i don't have to lean forward or hug the steering wheel at all.
