Hey everyone I am in the middle of finishing the install of a 351 into my 67 and since I am using a pretty tall tunnel intake, I already measured that I will have to get a significantly larger hood. So instead of going to obnoxiously large cowl I was thinking of a pro stock style hood scoop and riveting it to the original hood. Of course it would be functional and matched painted to the car, but I cant decide if it would be gorgeous or hideious? Does anyone have any pics or seen how this looks on a 67 coupe? This is strictly a drag car so dont worry about street and any pics would be great, thanks!

You can get one like the type that DK posted in that link that the bottom edge rolls under, so the flange is hidden. I believe it comes with some foam tape and you cut the hole in your hood then clamp it on and drill holes and either rivet it or bolt it in with some poly nuts. Painted to match, it looks right and you don't have to blend it in with your hood. I think Harwood makes the type I'm talking about.

Yeah, here's one Harwood has:

It would probubly be an aero style one that is just on the hood, not all the way to the windshield... Now for the important question, whats everyones opinion on this? Do you think it would look good or should I just cut a big ass hole in the hood for now and leave it be?
