I feel the need to dump more money into the car! So Im thinking about lower control arms. Everyone says they are the best suspension mod you can do, so I was looking at thisset here by pro3 off partshopper. Are these good ones to go with? I have always been a Maximum motorsports fan, but theirs are almost 100 more!! What do you guys think, is there a difference between the two?

I have the street/race LCAs. Been running them for 2 years with no problems. They're a great part for the money.

I am also looking at LCA's.. Do you have any before and after short times? I'm curious what kind of impact they will have over stock. Also, what tires and rearend are you running? I'm just wondering if by combining LCA's with my DR's I will need to build up my rear (i.e. 31 spline).

I never did any type of before and after comparison on the LCAs, so I couldn't tell you whether they actually improved my short times. They did help with the slight wheel hop I was getting with the stock LCAs. They also have a more solid feel over the stockers.
The rear in my car was upgraded to an Eaton unit and Superior 31-spline axles after a mishap on BFG DRs. You may be fine running sticky tires on the stock rear, but it would be a good idea to at least have the money ready just in case something breaks. Currently, I'm running MT Drags on the same Eaton/Superior setup.

Yeah, had me one of those "mishaps" my own self . . .
