Problem With a Short throw shifter~!

I Orderd a Short throw shifter for my car and i thought all the peices were there but after i got it all set to go i was 95% done, they didnt send the screw's to hold the shifter togeather.. so i go to the hardware store and find the 4 screws the right size... i install and use lock tight on them.. a week later it comes loose.. so take it back apart and use my girl friends clear nail polish and tighten them back up well i poll the car out today and BAM loose again.. i used lock tight/ clear nail polish.. and the basterd wont stay on! has this happen to anyone or can some one give me a pointer i gotta do it 1st thing in the morning and i wanna do it right.. so plz Help me out,.. i was thinken about getting longer screws and putting locknuts and bolts with washers... anyone ?

no the bolts that hold the shifter togeather the 2 arms that the upper bag covers~!!!!

it was the cheapest i could find because i lost my job.. i think it was a JDM motor sports .. i got it on E-Bay for 60 bucks shipped.. i figured it would hold up untill i could get a better one and the only thing wrong it i cant get it to stay togeather..~!

I paid 179.00 plus I had to ship it to canada (20 bucks) and the costoms (35 bucks) but man it was worth it.

You wont need to do all that it will be the 179 plus like $10 to ship

and I found the blue and red handles on ebay (lucked out there)

dude i will totally pay 179 for that i think they want like 200 for bbk or like 160 but that one looks way sweeter if i had that one i would leave the upper bag off just to show it off for a lil while~! lol thanks man

I thought the same thing lol...I was going to leave the shifter boot off to show off the MGW but I didn't.


try a search on here for MGW I havn't heard 1 bad thing about them..

I had the MGW with the orange handle in my Cobra, by far the best shifter Ive ever had. The fox I bought came with a pro50 and it fits the car well, I like it but MGW FTW!
