Problem with diablo chip

when i mash the gas on the freeway it downshifts.....hits about 6100 rpm then switches gears but when it does it it drops down to 6500 and starts acting like its hitting redline and wont shift or something i dunno whats going on....i got i reprogrammed...and it pretty much does the same thing what can it be does anyone else have the same problem?

Your shifts sound like their off. Exactly how did you program this thing and just where is your rev-limiter set for ? I think you made a mistype with "6500" and I think you mean "5500", at least I hope so.

i didnt program it.....socaldiablo.com the owner did it...twice....it has a hard time shifting i dunno why

They've got the shift points wrong then. Has the o/d light on your console flashed by any chance ?

I think redline is 5800 rpm If they have that shifting in the 6000's
you are in trouble

i dunno... something is wrong im taking it in monday morning this is gunna be the 3rd time hes programming it....

Its ok if it shifts at 6,100 rpms. However, its those other shifts I'm worried about. Hopefully its just the programming is off.

hopefully because it wasnt doing that before i got the chip

Check out Danny Swanson in Torrence. I heard he's able to do the diablo stuff now. Or get an Autologic chip. Then have Swanson, XMP, or Steve at Powertrain Dynamics do it for you. Powertrain did my chip. Couldn't be happier

If you need a new chip, call up Superchips and get in touch with Jerry Wroblewski. No one knows that 4r70w transmission better than him.

hopefully he fixes it because i wouldnt like to ask for my money back ... but if it still does it i am going to have to .... this guy shaun from socal he is a nice guy... i hope it gets corrected this time
