The coil wire that came with the spark plug wire set looks like this, how am I supposed to plug it onto the coil?

Yeah it's a spark plug wire set for all 302 engines. I got it for $20 so I might as well use it. All of the wires are marked 1 thru 8 for which cylinder they go to, but there is one short coil wire and another 1.5 foot wire that has nothing on it, it looks like a normal spark plug wire.

I used the one longer wire that has duplicate ends. I wrapped it around my distributor to take up the slack.

I sent My FMS wires back to Summit cuz of the coil wire and they sent me two #6's and no #5. They upgraded me to a set of Taylors and they are really alot nicer!

If you bought the kit brand new it will come with two extra wires. The one in the pic is for old style coils. The other is a regular plug wire with a number on it. I think #5 or #3. It will snap onto the coil if you press hard enough.

If you decide to sale them b/c they are to long get some Taylor's. They come with a coil wire that has a groove in one boot. You can pull the plastic clip off the stock coil wire and put it on the new one. It looks just like stock.

Good luck!

Just take the boot and stuff off of your stock coil wire and swap it over to your FMS one. Thats what I did to mine, I also cut the sparkplug wires down to length and havent noticed any problems. Heres the best picture I have of mine...
