I just picked up a 93 lx notch and had to take the t-5 out because of a bad secong gear syncro. Im in the process of putting my tko600 in the car so I checked the index on the stock bellhousing. The numbers were the same as when I put the tko bellhousing on.

The numbers were
0
10
4
-8
Thats 4 locations counterclockwise viewing from the back looking at the bellhousing. I followed the steps from an article I printed. Someone on this site gave me a link.

So I went to my local speed shop and got .007 offset dowels from lakewood.

After putting them in my numbers went off the wall
Here's a few after turning the dowels every which direction.
0________0________0
25_______30_______-6
35_______42_______5
-5_______5________15

I did a few more but these are the ones I wrote down. Each time I rotated the dowels slightly. Or just turned one.

Is there anything I could be doing wrong. The last one is where stopped because it was the closest to what the stock pins did. I must have loosened the bellhousing 20 times and redid the process. Any tips on doing this. Ive never done it before this. And I dont want to tow the car to a shop and have them do it.
