I just installed a 1/2 inch plenum spacer and now my EGR line running from the headr to the EGR valve it too short and ideas here guys, your help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for all your help guys.

But I believe I figured out a way to solve this problem. I thought I would post it up incase some one else has this problem.

When using and aftermarket header on these 5.0 motors the header company BBK, MAC, ect. Will supply you with a new EGR tube. The reason being is that the fitting on the header is going to be closer to the intake thus making the STOCK tube too long. However, when using an intake spacer the aftermarket EGR tube becomes too short.

My solution, use the STOCK EGR tube cut to apropriate length and flange the cut end....BINGO...

PROBLEM SOLVED!

USING STOCK JUNK.....LOL!

Talking from experience, the spacer from 50resto doesn't work. It might fill the gap but there will still be an offset from the egr to the egr tube. My advise is to get a custom one made (welder or exhaust shop). Or if you kno how to weld, make it yourself. Thats what I did. If you go to get it done just cut the tube in half then connect each half to the egr and the header then fill the gap and weld together. Good luck. :nice:
