A couple of weeks ago, I had my 07 GT out and noticed the ABS light was on and the traction control was off, I couldn't get it to turn on by pushing the button. I took it to ford and they replaced a wheel sensor, so they said. The next time I took it out, the same thing happenedm but the light went out before I got home and all was well. Yesterday, same thing, traction control wouldn't turn on and the ABS light was on and never did turn off, so I guess it's back to ford tomarrow. Has anyone else had this problem or heard of it? You get an ABS light and no traction control, the little emblem lights up on the dash when the TC is off and it won't respond to the button.

No, I don't have a tune yet. I guess a bad wheel sensor can happen, a fluke or whatever, but twice in 3 weeks is a bit much unless they really didn't fix it right the first time.

Yeah, the traction control is based on ABS. Wheel speed is calculated and when there is a difference in wheel speed, the TC turns on.

I can't really see another wheel speed sensor going out... Maybe the same one... but I doubt it. Sounds like a gremlin. Let us know what fixes it!

As bad as our road have been your lucky to drive over 40 mph as of late. I guess it's a fluke, the service tech said that he never saw 2 wheel sensors fail that close together if ever on the same car, I really don't want a new car, I just got this one beat into submission. Today when I was there they had just gotten a beautiful vista blue with silver stripes shelby gt. The windows were heavily tinted plus it was a gloomy rainy day, but trying to read the window sticker I could of sworn it said 29 grand. I didn't ask, but thats what it looked like to me, I ask the wife to have a look, but she said she couldn't tell. I know there's noway a shelby gt could be 29 grand. If it was, tomarrow when I picked up my car I would also take my check book and be driving a vista blue shalby home. It more than likely is 39 grand but a boy can dream. It's not worth 39 to me, but 29, "hell yeah"!!!
