My dad and I took my car out today and I was riding shotgun watching my pms and making sure everything was in order. 2 things struck my attention!

First off when we came to a stop and the car was idling, the 02 readings would drop down to .00 and stay there and then fluctuate up and then back down to zero for another few seconds.... eventually it would just stay at zero all together. I know that with longtubes the o2's wont get enough heat due to the longtubes and im wondering how I can avoid this problem or work around it

Secondly my maf load level at idle was 1 and it was putting out .9 volts, shouldnt it be lower than that at idle? sometimes the voltage would fluctuate a little lower and the load level would drop to L which is below 1. Any ideas? I tried another known good maf and it had lower voltage but constantly jumped from L to 1 back and forth.

thanks

Drew

for your o2 sensors you could buy extensions and place them closer to the collectors or in a crossover pipe. on my f150 i have 1 o2 sensor i think most mustangs have 2.

How are you reading the 02 sensors? A wideband or normal 02 sensor...
