I just bought a 13, 5.0 with the track pack. I am using it as a DD for now, so want to go easy on it. Reading about the frpp Procal and wanted to know if anyone had experience here. I know, AM and others give much more peak, but want to hear from anyone who has this. Noticeable power across the curve? Significant change in shifting (I've got the 6mt and hindering if more opens up than just the removal of skip shift)?

I really like mine. It's a great street tune providing more low end torque and throttle response, really waking up this pony. The shifting is pretty much the same. I had already unplugged the skip-shift, so that didn't make any difference to me (except that now I could plug it back in).

I will put the Procal against any other 91 octane tune. It's apples to oranges comparing this to a 93 or race tune. My car is trapping right around 114 mph on the Procal, so far. I will put that up against any 91 tune and alot of 93 tunes.

On the street, this tune is great. Lots of low end grunt, better throttle response, way better gas mileage (like 3-4 mpg increase, average).

you need to be able to get real 91+ octane fuel where you are though.

Oh and, btw, I've got $340 into this tune, installed at a Ford dealer + I keep a warranty. You cannot beat that value

I'm real happy with it. Like the others said, low end torque and better throttle response. I got mine here with the drop in K&N filter for $289. Dealer installed it for $90 and I kept my warranty.

I got a 2013 also and am thinking about getting the frpp kit with the gt500 mufflers. I purchased the extended warranty with my car and don't want to void that. I won't be racing so i don't need anything extreme. I think the addition of the extra low end torque and better gas mileage makes it worth the money. I got a 6mt also and i don't think the 2013's have skip shift. So your shifting should stay the same.

I'm thinking along the same lines--but just the Procal & filter kit (I already swapped to Roush axlebacks). I agree that the '13s seem to have dropped the skip-shift as I have not noticed it no matter how easy I drive the car.
