Prochamber Install..help me here please

Ok I've got a used prochamber. I did buy new nuts and bolts to replace the old ones, but didn't buy any new studs for the stock "header" where it meets the prochamber. I've already determined it would be a b**** to get those off. I will buy new nuts though. Is it really THAT hard to work the connections between the midpipe and stock manifold? Another question..I know it's recommended to buy a new OEM gasket for the passenger side, but as far as I know the driver side is ball and joint..so do I need anything here at all or just bolt it right up? Also should I use locktite on any of these bolts for a stronger hold?

Also..will I just be removing 2 O2 sensors..one on each side? Looks like you will unscrew these with an open ended wrench maybe? I haven't gotten a good look at them. Thanks

no you dont need to replace the studs, replacing the bolts cant hurt, oem gasket from ford is 10$ other side is just ball & socket with no gasket, and there are 4 o2's all you need is a 7/8 open end wrench. good luck with it

I took the studs out of the manifold. The nut would bottom out on the stud before the the prochamber would properly seal on the manifold. So I used bolts with lock washers and bolted the prochamber to the manifold. The studs are not to bad to get out, use some PB buster and Vice grips. You will need a long extension and swivel to get to the nuts. Hooking the 02 sensors back up is the biggest pain in the ass. Good luck!

Go out and spend 75 bucks for an electric impact wrench. It makes life much easier for those bolts coming off the shorties/manifold pipes. You will love the prochamber - best power making mid pipe you can get. Has a nice sound to it also.

So the passenger side is the doozy. I cannot remember wehre, but it seems like I read some people were removing the passenger tire and a plastic piece inside the wheel well and said the manifold studs were easily accessable right there. I think I do have a 10" extension, but no swivel and if it's really super easy to access them through removing tire, I'd go that route. what do you think?
