I gained about 10 rwhp with the prochamber. I've heard nothing but good things about the Dr. Gas pipe and suspect the gains are higher. It does have to be welded - I think - and that was a big reason I went with the prochamber. Either way, you'll love the sound and the extra kick.

I had the Dr. Gas and it droned like CRAZY with my Flows.
It was a bit raspy too.
Sounded like water flowing through my exhaust.
Idle sounded great though and at WOT it screamed and howled!
So, I had some hi-flow cats welded in.
This helped, but my head was still buzzing from the drone.
Put my Stock H back on.
No more migranes.
I'm looking into the Pro-chamber now.

P.S. - I just posted that I added some sound dampner in my trunk.
This really knocked out the drone. Hmmmm, Back to DR. GAS?

Its probably not the midpipe thats causing you problems. My prochamber and flow combo drones as well. Its more noticable than when I just had flows in. I dig the sound so much though I've been driving around all winter with the heater blasting and the windows down.

I just switched from a ProChamber to a Dr. Gas X-pipe. I haven't dynoed it so I can't tell you about any power gains between the 2.

dr gas. no contest. I'll be putting one on mine when I get LT's simply because I can't bring myself to hack up my bassani pipe. I'd rather someone else buy it.

Just to add, cobrakiller's success cars (as in making 450+ hp) all of them have the dr gas and flows combo so it's gotta be doing something right.
