What do you guys think of the Mac Prochamber?
I've heard some clips and really like it.
I have an American Thunder C/B with Stock H-Pipe.

-What will the difference in the sound be?
-Performance?
-Will the drone increase or decrease?

I already did that.
Drone was horrible (even with cats).

Those clips are pretty nice.
Is it just me or does that exhaust setup sounds pretty tame from the inside of the car.
How much does it drone for you?
What are the differences from a stock H-Pipe?

It's relatively loud on the inside of my car. I have turndowns as well, aka no tailpipes. The camera I was using just doesn't pick up sound very well. It drones quite a bit between 1100-1900rpms but I'm never in that zone with my 4.10s so it doesn't really bother me. Major differences over the stock H pipe. Much more power.

I've got 4.10's too.
So the Prochamber makes the drone appear in lower RPM's than
the stock pipe?
If so, that should be OK.
I'm looking to make my Flows "growl' more.

I have a ProChamber, and at first the drone was worse than I liked. If the drone really annoys you, put some sound dampening material on, like I did. The drone is still there, but significantly less and there are lots of benefits to using sound dampening. Suddenly, you'll hear your stereo better, road noise is alot less... Sometimes I do actually enjoy the stereo over the V-8 rumble, but only sometimes. There is a slight weight gain with adding the material, but it's insignificant. Just a thought. I am really happy with my ProChamber, having had it on more than 5 years now. The rust problems you may hear about shouldn't be a factor if you take normal care of it, especially considering where you live. I've lived in the midwestand eastern mountains where they use plenty of salt and other snow melting chemicals and with normal care, the pipes won't rust. Of course I only drive it when I have to in the winter. You may also get fooled initially by a loud "rushing" noise that will sound like a leak after you've had it checked out and find no leak, get used to it. As you have stock exhaust manifolds, you may need to change the studs on the passenger side from the stock ones (with an unthreaded shoulder) to full threaded studs. It's not really hard to do, if you don't, the ProChamber may not seal up fully and it will leak. Make sure you use the stock gasket, preferably buy a new one from ford. The one you'll get from MAC isn't as good and may give you trouble sooner or later. The drivers side is a ball and socket joint and won't trouble you. Make sure you have long extensions and a couple of swivels (and patience) to get to the manifold bolts.

I've had two prochambers. One was on with my stock manifolds and I just put another one on with the LT's. I have the old one for sale in the classifieds if you are interested. There is a drone but the sound is sweet.
