Ive got a Summit H-Pipe on my cobra and i didnt need to get anything special for the smog pump hook up. It was a.....tight fit but mainly because my mufflers arnt where they are supposed to be. To answer the question though: The H-Pipes ive seen also have the smog pump hook-up, will you have to get anything special to hook it up? No idea till i try. Mock it up first, then see.

Yea it's for the airtube to goto the smog pump. It's pretty hard to take it off the stock H pipe and a little bit harder to put back on the pro chamber. So you will need to utilize your blow torch if you plan on keeping the smog pump on. I have to tell you though, I put my airtube back on and it's a really tight fit, a lot harder to align with it on too. It also brushes on a lot of stuff so it might be a good idea to get a tube. I never thought about that and I think i'll do it when I do my clutch install.

It's true, if you don't have cats on your car you don't really have a use for the smog pump. But take some things into consideration. It's only function isn't to make the cats burn more efficiently, it also ventilates the crank case. The reason I left it in was because it seemed like more of a hassle to remove it and have to put everything back in again when I get it inspected. I do plan on bypassing it though.
