I have a procharger that has a adjusted pulley. The belt starts to come loose at 3500 4000 rpm. 2800 rpm and lower is fine. It never comes off just acts like its about to. Anyone else have this problem?

I am not familiar with the procharger kits on 5.0s but I have one on my bullitt. Is the belt for the procharger the same belt that goes around all your acessories? If so it is held tight by the stock belt tensioner, located just to the right of the alternator. Sometimes the springs in these get bad over time and loosen up. I think they are 50 bucks or something from ford. I am not sure what you mean by the term adjusted pully. If you have a pully that is smaller then the one that came on the procharger kit then you might need a shorter belt. There is a black tab on the belt tensioner that shows how much adjustment it has left.

on the 5.0 the procharger has its own belt. Mine is using an 8 rib belt. The belt goes on the drive shaft that is extension for the procharger.

Hey I know it doesnt have to do with your question but have you ever taken your car down the track with the 4.10? I have 4.30 and a s/c and I dont think I have enough gear anymore to last the full 1/4.

the 4.10 does allow the car to go the full 1/4 mile with an auto.
