I have an 06 GT and had a procharger system installed (cant remember model off hand) anyways had it dyno tuned as it was running 25% lean. Running well now except once in a blue moon I will get a P 061B Unknown code. The wrench light will go on and lose almost all power. Now i believe that this is just a precautionary measure by the car not recognizing the extra power. I can clear the code (as recommended by my dyno specialist) and everything is fine. I will be getting an up to date download for my computer to help resolve this. Has anyone else had this problem or know what this P 061B unknown code is??

I would HIGHLY recommend you get your car tuned, especially after adding a supercharger. If you are using the canned tunes then that won't cut it.

I was getting a code, I'm not sure the code # but it was when I was at wide open throttle then suddenly let off the gas for whatever reason, that's when the torque limiter would kick in with failsafe mode. Does yours do that at wide open throttle and suddenly letting off of the gas? My car was recently tuned by Kevin MacDonald of Diablosport and I have not experienced it yet. I haven't driven it that much though.

yes this is after being dyno tuned. It has only happened about 4 times and with about 1000 km later. will be getting a new download for the car and hopefully that will correct the problem. Just wondering if anyone knew what that code was....

yes it basically goes into failsafe mode in which you maybe have a 100hp or so.. the first couple times happened when giving it sufficient gas but not 100%. The last time it happened was going up a hill at about 25% throttle in 4th gear. Seems to be minor but the same code always comes in as "unknown" ....

Sounds like something wrong with the tune. Mine only did it with the canned tune from Procharger, which was normal at WOT and abruptly letting off the gas. When Kevin MacDonald from Diablo tuned my car, he said they have made a lot of breakthroughs with this new pcm lately to cure these kinds of problems. They used Justin Burcham's car to learn a lot.
