That is not the finalized production model. There are some things still not finalized in the exterior design. That car is a mule. It even has the red "oh ****" button on the dash that they put on all the mules.

Pretty much what I was thinking... I was also thinking, hell, if this is the final version, where do I sign up for the California Special...

that hood is hideous. where can we write to caroll and tell him ? the concept hood is so much better. that hood ruins the whole car.

The condition of the car looks too good to be a mule. The hood doesn't look as cool as the concept version, could just be that ugly yellow though.

It needs the original hood and the Shebly emblem on the rear. I love that lettering on the back.

Oh, man I think its so funny that guys driving GPs say the new Shelby GT-500 is ugly.
Anyway, I do agree that the hood does ruin the look of the car. I'm also still not for sure I like the rearend treatment along with the choice of spoiler but overall its a nice-looking car.

A mule is an auto industry term used for a test vehicle. It is used for testing different concepts and designs to ready for a production vehicle. Every mule sometimes has different features and concepts to test. They test everything from suspension to hood design, from motor combo to interior designs, etc.

yeah, it's a mule. that is NOT the finalized production model. Not that it won't necessarily go into production like that. But it's not finalized. Alot of things are still up in the air. Hopefully the hood is one of those. Haven't talked to one person that liked it, so I'm pretty sure that'll change.

I was just visiting the website to check up on rumors of the upcoming camaro
man some of those guys are dilusional
