I agree.

You kept that car soooo perfect I'd hate to see it get hit or damaged by some freak hail storm on the way. Those transport co.'s usually don't deliver direct so she may be riding around on the truck a while. Also they have to take the red beast off the truck every time they need to unload another.

Damn, why do I sound so negative. Oh, I know why. I'm jealous of the new owners.

Again congrats on the sale. That avatar pic is one of the best shot's of a Saleen Mustang I have ever seen. And it's only the wheel.

Bill...yes, a little sad to see it go, but I know it is going to some meticulous owners just from talking with them over the phone and via E-mail. It will be in great hands.

Marcus, I agree. I sort of cringed when I rounded the corner and saw the open transport trailer. That is why I immediately called the new owner and asked if he knew about it...and he did. He had a very hard time finding someone to transport the car on short notice, and I guess FedEx screwed him over. Just got an E-mail from them...the car should be delivered tomorrow morning. I really hope it arrives in the same condition it left. We had a bad wind/rain storm blow through Virginia Beach very early this morning.

New Owners

Hi there!

I just wanted to introduce both Rob and I! Rob and I are very lucky to have found Rob and his Saleen. We are both very excited about it arriving in Chicago. I know it was not shipped enclosed..... , but we did like Rob said got screwed with Fed ex and a few others!!!! We would have felt a lot more comfortable it being enclosed.

We have spoken to the drivers though, and everything is good. They said with 2x4s Rob provided that it has been very easy to have her taken off and put back on. We promise to take such good care of her. Rob has owned a few mustangs and it has always been my dream to have one. Also, if you could see how maticulous Rob is with our Jeep's I think we would both agree the Saleen will be taken care of!

Rob and I are excited about meeting other Saleen owners! We are so excited I don't think either one of us slept at all last night!!! Thank you Rob for being an amazing person to work with!

Welcome! Go sign up at SCOA and they have event listings throughout the country. I believe the Saleen midwest Regionals is being held this weekend in Indiana, right?

Anyway, plenty of great folks around here who will be able to help you out with anything Saleen-related!
