Does anyone have any pics of one of these installed? I would like to see where you put the temp sensing bulb and I want to know how good it works. Just installed one on my car and I'm not sure if I have the sensor mounted right.

I have the same thing, but it was really easy to flip the fan over so all the wiring was down below. Makes for a much cleaner install...

LMAO!! You got me.... that was before the top end rebuild. My father and I just finished putting h/c and porting the intake. everything on the top is new, including the best plug wires I could find... Looks alot better now... Sorry bout the ugly spot... #4 got burnt on the header when it wiggled itself loose..

Thanks for the compliment wash. And no this is not a SN-95 elbow. That is a SN-95 ported aftermarket Cobra intake. I wanted to do something different, something I haven't seen before. What do you think? Not like it Ninety?

I really need to see pics of where the temp sensor needs to be put.
Well its not very long in length, but I placed mine right on the bottom passenger side of the radiator since that was closest to the hose and I flipped the fan upside down. Good thing is its adjustable, so just set it to come on when you need it. Ya cant really go wrong unless you turn it all the way down! BOL!

THat fan looks nice but does it pull enough air to effectivly cool?

They rate it at only being efficient for 200 hp... I have double that at the wheels and have no cooling issues whatsoever. It has done VERY good by me. I have installed a 180 degree thermostat as well, along with a high flow water pump and fluidyne radiator.. I know all this helps. With that being said, when it kicks in, I see the gauge drop at least 20 degrees each time. Does VERY well.:nice: :nice:

As for pics, I dont have any right now, but to regain street cred for having that nasty replacement wire on #4 I will take another set of shots for ya...:nice: :nice:

Key there is a high quality radiator, good to know though!

i have one of the proforms on my car now for about 2-3 years. the temp sensor just runs through the fins of the radiator. and those are correct, it will cool much better with an aftermarket radiator. i might have pics that i can post up later.
