fiveohwblow, do the top mounts on your fan shroud just hang over the lip on the radiator? I hadn't seen that mounting method before, and then saw it yet again on a car in one of the stang mags this month.

How does that work for you?

Thanks for the pics. Just one question...why is everyon's line to the temp sensor longer than mine? Mine is onlu about 3 inches long.

take off the 2 screws on the black housing, the rest of it is in there

Actually they come with these brackets, but I had to modify it a little bit. Basically, I put those in a vice and bent the curled portion of them a bit more. I did this to achieve the fan being sucked to the radiator more than they came from proform, but nonetheless it works perfect. Pulls the fan close and does not move at all! There is a set on top and on bottom, dont know if you got that from any pics, but I hope this helps! Sorry about no pics yet, got caught up with life...

yeah, i dont care for the brackets too much, so i modified some of my own.

Thanks for the bracket info guys. I'm not familiar with some of the aftermarket brackets and that's definitely one of 'em. It's an interesting idea though.

What is wrong with the brackets it comes with? I thought mine worked pretty well.

nothing wrong wtih them, but mine didnt fit all that well!

Agreed. Nothing is "wrong" with them, I just needed to modify them to fit my aftermarket radiator.

Should be able to see it in the pic I posted but I am running the duel core fluidyne aluminum rad.
