Progressive Springs vs. Linear for strip

I don't think anything other than stock springs will give you better weight transfer. Just get some full-length subframe connectors if you haven't already.

stock fox body V8 rears cut 1-2 coils with Fox body 4 cylinder springs in the front.

The Eibach's probably work better but I had the Fox body set up and it looked good and performed well for cheap $$$.

BTW- I second the notion to get subframe connectors.

Also- you will probably want an adjustable strut up front. The stock rear shock is fine as it has valving of close to 50/50 which is optimum for the launch.

If it will be primarily a drag car then go with Lakewood drag struts with a 90/10 valving. Just don't drive it on the street too much.
