project 9" rear end
Hello everyone my name is Tony 23yrs old, new here so forgive me if I ask a stupid question.
I have a 65 mustang (coupe), that I've been working on for the last 2 years. It came with a 289 that was swaped for a inline 6 before it was sold to me ($600). I change the entire front to handle an V8 including disk brakes ($ 2.000) and now im working on the rear. I bought a 9" rear houseing off a 69 Couger ($175) had it shortend ($125), got 31 spline 9" axles (mouser) from summit racing ($240), a 28 spline 3.00 gear pumpkin for the Pomona swap meet ($50), and a 9 inch 31 spine limited slip diff NR off ebay ($114) that will be here in 2 says.
My question is this what is this. Does any one know what the NR stand for, and what is the deffrence or is there a deffrence between the locker and limited slip?
