I was thinking about putting some projectors on my ride like the ones in this link:

http://www.uprproducts.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=849

Anyone have these? How well do they work? How do they look? Pics anyone?

Why not just get some Sylvania Silverstars or PIAA headlights? You will still have your highbeams and your ca$h...

It's not so much the light output as it is the yellow reflectors on the sides. I can do without the yellow.

There was somebody who posted a smoked version of that housing with a really good price. I think that thread was lost with the crash. Whoever posted that...can you do so again?

They just told me no, and didn't really give me a reason.

You don't lose the high beams...the outer lamps are your normal driving lights and the inner ones are your high beams...I can understand why the HID bulbs will not work...you don't plug directly into the bulb as you do now with the factory lamps, you plug into a pigtail that comes out the back of the housing...the bulb is well sealed in the unit and there is some special wiring configuration you can see when you open up the back of the housing

What kind of bulbs do the projectors use? The same as the stock headlights?

i remember reading before the crash a guy on here was taking his off because the lighting sucked and there was minimal adjustability for the beam.
