I've been working on cars for a couple years.. Nothing huge.. Switch out catbacks and springs.. Things of that nature. Always did things on my own. My friends are not car guys.. So this may sound like a dumb question, but what is the best way to get a Mustang on 4 jack stands?

Reason I ask, getting an Xpipe and want to get the car up off the ground without damaging anything.. I mean, I can jack each side up and put the stands under, but it seems like the body is absorbing a lot of flex..

 you are leaving yourself sooooooooo wide open with that title :rlaugh:

but on topic, why not just jack up the front end instead of trying to get the whole car in the air  it's very doable that way

I know man, I just re-read that title.. At this hour on a Friday night, I'm asking for it..

But back on topic... Ramps would provide enough clearance to get the Xpipe on?

1 jackstand under each front control arm (jack the car from the middle of the K member)

1 jackstand under each rear axle tube (jack the car from the differential.)

I heard you shouldn't jack the car from the differental.. But I've done it before as well.. Just wanted to see if there was a better way to get the car into the air...
