proper way to flush a radiator

i bought a radiator flush. what is the best way to do this?

I usually just drain the radiator, then hook a hose up to the radiator with the petcock open, and run the car until it reaches operating temperature. Then shut it down and refill the radiator. If you bought the flush, i think it says to fill the radiator with water and that flush stuff, and let it run for a few minutes, then drain it again and refill with the good stuff. That way works too.

Drain the radiator, add the flush, fill with water, then drain that out, fill with coolant/water mix. (50/50)
