Hello all,

My situation: 1969 Mustang convertible, 2000 R code IRS installed, Rod and Custon IFS installed with power steering, 2003 Cobra motor and T56 installed. Close quarter problem: trying to get all things connected and fit properly in the quadrant of the PS pump, alternator, remote adapter, lower water outlet, hoses to the steering rack and pump.
One solution ; would be to swap out PS for a manual rack--but what to do with the PS pump?
Anyone seen a delete kit for the PS pump that like for the AC?
Or anyone seen if removing the pump and rerouting a shorter belt will work?

THANKS for the space to ask these questions... John

you may have too fabricate your own P/S eliminator kit.. this can be done by making a bracket that bolts in place of the pump and mounting a idler pulley too it.. you will have too use a different belt.. unless you find a pulley with the same diameter to use..

another way you can try without any fabrication. is too simply use a smaller belt without the p/s pump in.. it may take you a few tries too find a belt that gives the proper tension.. but it's worth a shot..
