what does this mean P1451 Lack of Response From Passive Anti-Theft System Module - Engine Disabled?

Hate those testers.they can tell half why not the other half?1451?thats evap .1260 is pats

1260 is theft detected engine disabled...1451 is passive system..

Im on a cell and could only get 2 1364.google it its a typo that also shows 1260.my guess is somebody did a massive burnout! Look behind left rear solenoid on canister. Un plug clean and try again any other codes?

no massive burn out ...maybe it is a typo ill have to put it on the ford scanner tomorrow and see i pulled the codes with my hand held tuner...other codes are just for the oxygen sensors...thanks for the help ill let you know what happenes tomorrow

1451 is an evap code. replace the canister vent solonoid and flow valve

figured it out blown fuse which is for evap and o2 heaters..changed fuse and is fine now ill have to drive around sunday once the weather is clear and see if the codes come back but thats what the fuse was for those codes or circuit

it was for the the o2 heater and evap circuit it was a 20 amp my friend works at ford and i called him and he looked in the book and he said yes that fuse is for those circuits

Thanks ill note that .you said you had other codes.i like to search those.when doing test some codes must be fixed 1st.i use fords books and their are so many footnotes.thanks for sharing and responce back

yea the other codes were linked to that fuse through the circuit so there alll fixed

I like to share my findings.your car should be ok.this is not ment to offened anyone.its not what class you sat through for your patch, its the end result .your problem should have been found in basic checks. Am i wrong with assuming most posts the person has done that already. Like this one .he asked 4 1 code with out telling all.i enjoy stangnet wish we had this 20yrs ago.maybe more detail and remember basic

Yes thats right.but like i said most post in tech we assume u have a problem.you were wrong on your discription.than you wanted to debate it also.your o2 code gave away the answer. Read other stories most go in circles.this isnt directed at you at all.get ur self a service oem book(cd) it has everthing in it.
