What do i all need to install a pulley set? Do the stock belts work?

An impact gun to remove the alt. pulley. Or remove your alt take it a discount and they will R&R it for you.

i assume you are talking about u/d pulleys and that it is on a 94/95 5.0. if so then all it is ...pull off the belt then take off the old pulleys and replace them with the u/d pulleys. stock belt works with them. very easy i just did it about 3 weeks ago

stock belt will work fine, but I'd loosen the the W/P and crank pulley's with the belt still on, helps to keep the pulleys from spinning while breakung the torque on the fasteners, good luck

Yep pretty easy job just don't get in a big hurry and bust a knuckle.

On the topic of UD pulleys, I have been looking to get a set, but everytime I go to a website to order some, I see them up to the year 93 and then 96- whatever, where have you guys ordered them from? Other than different brands and types of material, are there any real differences between pulleys? Thanks guys.

the 94/95 motor is not compatible with pre-94 pulleys. summit has them. lots of folks buy asp pulleys. i have bbk's. i recommend getting aluminum ones, they are lighter and have less rotational inertia.

I just ordered the BBK Polished Aluminum pulleys from Jegs... how much time would it take off in the 1/4, i run a 14.8 @ 92mph

i was told that they wouldn't work when i asked back when i bought mine
