If your start adding real hp later on ,you will want your (stock) ballencer pulley. Vibration on your crank, due to light ballencer pulley, will a cause loss of power.The steeda ballencer pulley is too light as far as race applications are concerned.
As far as gaining 10 hp........not!!!

Of the many before/after dynos i have seen steeda pullies (the only ones i recommend) consistantly relieve 5-8 rwhp i've never seen a set give less than 5 hp.
I have steeda pullies on my daily driver with NO issues, and as far stripping your crank bolt, that is installer error.
How does a lighter ballencer lose HP? that defies the laws of physics, it takes more work to turn a heavier object than a lighter one, (steeda balencer IS SFI approved, so your vibration issue is bunk too, more installer error?)

Im not the physics expert, but most serious racers use heavy dampers to reduce vibration.
As far as installer error; your right I broke it and I had to fix it and it was a pain; but it dosent have a lot to do with the vibration issue and using a heavy damper.
