THE 51ST STATE!!
Hey boys and girls,

Right i have a 98 reg GT and since buying the car about 2 months ago it has recently started to pull to the left, so much so that i thought it might have been the tracking! so off i went ot the localgarage and got the tracking, balancing and my tires checked! now they are all spot on! BUT the car still pulls to the left!

What do you reckon it could be?

susspension sagging? ( or maybe the suspenson being to soft for our ****ty british roads??)

had the car off the ground and had a look underneath but everything looked fine!

Please help me guys :bang: :bang: :bang:

Si

P.S its not under braking so wont be a sticky pad/disc!

What suspension do you have?? If your car is lowered, and you never got an alignment, then you deffinetley need one!! If you have stock suspension, then it might be time that your car needs one. My stang was barely pulling to the right after I did my suspension. I went and got it aligned shorlty thereafter, and now it is all good!! Good luck:nice:

ok kool cheers guys, but urrr (time to sound thick) what is an allignment on my car? ie how do they do it and what do they change??

OR

is it the same as our "tracking" in which they check to make sure the wheels arent pointing togethor or away from each other etc etc

i also only have stock susspension!

and yes it could be a sticking disc/pad i suppose in that its always dragging!

if the g/f allows ill swap the tyres over at the weekend!

if not the car is going in for a service at an american car specialist over here in 2 weeks time!

could somthing be broken??

Si:bang:

You really dont know what an alignment is? Thats where they correct the camber/caster and toe of your wheels so your car doesnt pull right or left and for even tire wear....

Dont forget to tell them to change your headlight fluid while you have it in the shop and up on the alignment machine.
