purge solenoid question

i am building a ffr cobra and i am using all the emission
devises, i ordered a purge solenoid from ford i received the
part number in the ford racing instruction manuel wich
came with my wiring harnesses. i thought the valve should
of only been one with a connector? but thr one i reveived
has 4 solenoids all tied together what is up with this?
is it for a diff application. does any one know how this one
is run?

Yeah, I got the same octopus looking thing....there is a screw-up in the part number. The right part number for my 1990 GT had this on the box:

one
CX-1158
E6ZZ-9C915-A
valve asy

thanks for the info don i thought something didnt look right

Not sure but I think it was for a Bronco.
