push button start....

I haven't drove my car in a few weeks. I went to drive it yesterday and found out I have lost my keys for it, no biggie, I started to drill out the tumbler. I was wrong, I can't get it out!

Since this is a drag oriented car, I want a toggled hot and push button start system. Does anyone know what wires I need to splice to accomplish this? I have been looking over several diagrams, but not knowing exactly how the ignition switch works, I have no idea which wires to splice into... Any help at all is appreciated.

Should be able to replace the tumbler and get new keys, just like any other igntion...

To replace the tumbler, the key has to be inserted and turned. My option was to drill out the little lock on the bottom, but after drilling all the way through, it still doesn't want to come out.

use a slide hammer to get the old ignition off, this will allow you to start it with a screwdriver and then you can get a look at the wiring and remove the lock and proceed with the switch and button wiring.


I only know this because im a part time repo man, lol. Im not a thief, i promise lol

argh, can't get the switch out... Would love it if someone here knows how to hot wire these cars!!!
