Now that I found that the guides were worn and letting oil into the chamber...I checked the length and they are dead smack in the middle on the valve stem. What gives...now I have to spend $500 to get all the guides replaced on these new heads. Any suggestions?????
your title implies length is the problem...but I don't think so.
What pushrods did you use? I've read some pushrod manufacturers polish or put coatings on their hardened pushed rods to help prevent wear on guide plates...so I'm curious what pushrods you used?
