Does anyone know what length push rods are used with the stock 95 cam and Trickflow Track Heat heads?

When I put these heads on, all the shops around that sell push rods will be closed, so I'd like to go ahead and buy a set that "should" work. If they don't hit the valve right I'll be no worse off than if I hadn't tried.

I've got one vote for 6.750 being correct for the stock cam.

6.7" should be the ticket, but obviously measuring is ideal.

Ah ha! An area I can help, unlike the tuning section...

I'm running 6.75" pushrods with my TFS1 cam. After measuring, that's what I came up with, and I'm also pretty sure that's what comes with their top end kit. You should measure just to be on the safe side. Pushrods are what, $100 give or take? An adjustable pushrod is around $12, so that's what I'd do first, just to be on the safe side.

They may have some - I don't know if we'll be to that point on Saturday though. I'd like to buy 'em from EPW where I've got the hookup from Doug.

Might just end up buying a couple sets and bringing back the ones that don't look like they play nice on the valve.

New cam will be in new engine... this engine will be on borrowed time with stock cam.

Well ... EVERYONE knows cams won't work with 94-95 computers

Heaven forbid if ... it has a lsa of 112 or lower

A friend of my second cousins brother in law told me he heard all
you have to do to make it work is increase your fuel pressure by
1.75 lbs and your good to go

He then shared with me ... A little known secret

He said the only thing you gotta be careful about is if the vacuum
drops too low because the 94-95 computers can't deal with
low vacuum

I saw a guy the other day that was told that you could run more timing but that you had to have an adjustable FPR to do so.

Here's the method:
1. Advance the timing till it pings bad
2. Raise fuel pressure until it doesn't ping anymore
3. Repeat above two until the car feels like it is not any faster

I kid you not, you can't make this stuff up!
