SO happy I got to put my 17x10.5 in back and 17x9 gunmetal rims on and they fit like a charm. So nice to drive wiht them i acually speed into sharp turns handles excelently.I told my self i would never let them break loose thinking id break smothing or the clutch would burn, however iam glad to say that lil 5sp v6 got smoke from both of the tires with out dropping the clutch at a high rpm ( let clutch out at 1200 rpms). Had the asss end kicked out when i put it in 2nd I was amazed. Theres hope for our 3.8s.

Seems a bit unreal to me to get smoke from both tires, when you drop the clutch at 1200 rpms. Especially since they are 17 x 10.5

Why would you pop the clutch at 1200?? If your gonna burn your clutch go the extra mile and try 4000


BTW I have same wheels just not gunmetal.....they are hot and IMO look way cooler than any aftermarket wheels (exception all ford racing wheels and deep dish replicas)

i dropped the clutch at 1200 to get a good launch becasue i had no intention to spin them and if i dropped it to high the clutch would be going through a beating. YA when i went back i found only a wheel peel which is still nice to see 10 inches or rubber from a 3.8

I like how they look, but I'm not a fan of split-size rims. They look different than four identical rims, but it isn't worth it when it comes time to rotate the tires!
