They said I need their stupid "ARP Thread Sealer" on the bolts. I didn't order this crap from summit when I ordered the bolts, am I hosed now? I really wanted to get these heads on this weekend. It also says if I don't use their specific Moly Lube, the head gasket could fail. If its so important, why don't they include some with the head bolts?

You can use some regular motor oil for the top bolts.

Get some thread sealer from your local parts stores or you very well could have a nice coolant leak from those bottom bolts...

I used their sealant and it leaked....

Ultra Black RTV for me since, altough we have this stuff at work that I may try for poops and giggles. It is called Leak Loc and is meant for HVAC stuff with temp ranges from like -100 to like 1000 deg F!

I use Never-Seeze on the top bolts and Teflon pipe dope from Home Depot on the bottom. Works great, the Teflon pipe dope was recommended to me by Powered by Ford here in Orlando.

Use lots of the Never Seeze, and be sure to paint the underside of the bolt heads on both the uppper & lower bolts for best results with the torque readings. Watch out for ARP washers, the side that fits to the bolt head has a chamfer that matches the underside of the bolt.
