Are the pictures on your computer or a website? If they are on your computer, you can't post them in a thread. If they are at a website then you can link to them.
For example:
http://members.rogers.com/smmcphee/ins_04.jpg
is a link to a picture of my car, hosted at my web site.
If you want to show the actual picture in the post, then you need to go to the advanced posting window,(see image below)
and click on the insert image button (circled in red). You will then get this thing,
enter the same url and then the image will show in your post.

Just remember, you cannot do this stuff unless your images are hosted at a website somewhere. If you want, I could probably host a few pics for you if you have no place to do it from. Hope this helps.
