pwr windows VS Radio

When i roll my drivers side power window up, (doesn't happen when it goes down), about 3 inches from the top it causes some nasty popping and distortion in my speakers (music stops and just loud static noise and popping). where do i look to fix this problem. Also happens sometimes when i open the door with the window partially down....

sounds like you have a short in the wiring.Pull the door panel and look inside for a loose wire or rubbing somewhere.

i am assuming you have replaced the speakers in the door. I would say you most likely have wires grouding out or something in the door and the window is causeing it. Pull it apart and check it out
