Pypes OR/H and Pypes Muffler deletes vids!

I took off work early to have my Magnaflows taken off so now I have O/R X-pipe with muffler deletes.

It's quiet at idle, but helacious under throttle! Christ it sounds like I am going twice as fast as I am. LOL! IT's WAY louder under throttle than his video leads you to believe.

*After driving it tonight* - Holy Hell! This thing is rediculously loud. Cops have been pacing me and checking my car out. It is quiet during cruise, not much louder than my magnaflows. But even a nudge of the gas from a stop, like at the light, this thing sounds like "GENTLEMEN START YOUR ENGINES!" I started my car in the parking lot and a car 4 spaces over starting having it's alarm go off.

I found that it is considerably quieter when I start off in 2nd gear instead of first, and shift around 2,500rpms.

So anyone want to buy my magnaflow axle-backs? LOL!

I run my own muffler delete system. All stock under the car and I had the mufflers removed. In their place, I had built a pipe to attach to the stock mounting and used a 15-18" X 4" chrome tip. It sets about where the original tip did in alignment with the bumper. This cost me $80.00 as a trial. The stock mufflers will go right back on if needed. I like it and here in Panama City I have had no problems. Other locations I have driven it have been no problems either. Of course, I don't try drag racing the local law either.

First thing you will notice is that the right pipe is too low and too far out from the fascia. Thanks to pypes manufacturing for that. It goes on the rack Monday to shorten the mounting bracket (on the muffler delete) to provide proper alignment. The left pipe (tip) is close to the finished location it just needs to be centered.

I've been fighting that freakin' passenger tip all morning trying to get it to line up. Is shortening the only solution? I love my Pypes mids but this f'in right tailpipe is driving me crazy!

I've never heard of "sucking a valve". If you run no maifold, or an open manifold or shorty header (maybe), you can BURN a valve, because after every exhaust gas pulse there is a slight suction for a split second, and it sucks cold air onto the hot exhaust valve and can damage it. But as long as you have a foot or two of pipe, that won't happen. So you are perfectly fine.

I've got stock manifolds on there now, My shorties are sitting in a box........anyone want to buy them? Other than that I have catless X-pipe, stock over axle, and custom muffler deletes after that.
