I've made my decions...I'm going with the catted pypes x-pipe. This seems like it will be the best system for me- being in CA and all. They say the cats are ODBC compliant and have a CARB number. This is the only manufacturer that I've seen that has this. So far in my searching, mustangtuning.com has the cheapest price (free shipping). I am assuming pypes makes the ones offered at mustangtuning.com. I guess I will also need O2 extenders as well. I will not be getting MIL eliminators. Tell me what you guys think:

If anyone knows if I can get this cheaper, please let me know where.

You'll need extensions on your o2's only if you have a 2004 model.

ok now I'm really confused. I thought with a catted x-pipe MIL eliminators weren't needed...? I have a 2004 so I will need extensions I guess. Are these extenders for the front or rear O2's? Do the cats on a catted x-pipe really make that much of a difference as to not needing MIL eliminators as opposed to an O/R that does need MILs...if this makes sense? Like is that exhaust really that much dirtier with an O/R pipe (when not using cats)?

I needed MIL's for my Bassani X Pipe. You just need them for the rear. Oh, all aftermarket mid pipes are illegal in CA. Catted or not. You'll fail visual. Keep the stock pipe because you'll need to switch back to it when smog time comes around.

Mil eliminators are not required but sometimes you may get a MIL light.
most people install the MIL to eliminate this nussance.
(MI elim. on rear o2's only)
I think the person that had problems with the pypes brand exh. had
other issues with their car, the damaged cats were a result of this.
