Q about locking header bolts

I just got the stage 8 lockking header bolts because mine keep backing off. I just bolted them up to the car. Should I wait a few days before putting the locks on. (I heard the gasket shrinks a little after some use) If this is so, I'd rather drive the car a few days then put the locks on because they are a PITA to get off and its easy to loose the small pieces.

I know a lot of people have done this before, let me know what you think. THanks.

I put the locks on at the same time I put the bolts on. That was about 6 months ago and no leaks yet. I say do it all at once.
