well i really like the look of the roush rear valences but i dont want to buy the side exhaust... maybe in the late future. So could i take the tips, and possibly the tube that goes over the rear axle to put the rear valences on and run my exhaust like that?

pros / cons?s

just put turndowns in the rear of the mufflers. Have you heard them before?

I asked because some people do not like turndowns under a car. I like that much better than side exaust and if you aren't going to see it , I would just put the turndowns on the mufflers. You still can go back farther if you like and turn down behind the bumper cover.

So bottom line is....

I can take my tips off and it will be hidden. It will hide behind the valences, and the dirty exhaust wont discolor the rear bumper?

I would put some type of turndown tips( you will not see them) back there. On Fox body GTs the exaust was turned down right behind the bumper cover and some of those have exaust marks. I had an 89 Convertable Gt, White , and never saw a mark from exaust. I guess it is possible. I keep cars clean for the most part. That usually means at least once a week wash.
