Anyone ever use Q-Form kick panels in a 94 and up 5-Speed? If so how was it for shifting and resting your foot?

My '02 was an automatic and the Q-Forms only stayed in for about 2 weeks. They took up WAY too much room. I'm 6'4 and have a size 13 foot, and there was no place to put those skis. With the 5-speed, I think they would be a continuing annoyance. That said, if you still want them, I'll make you a great deal on the dark charcoal ones, and I'll even leave the custom component set installed in them.

I have a 96 v6 5-speed and I test fitted a pair I found off a wrecked mustang in a junkyard. God, you be surprised what people leave on thier vehicles when they are totalled.

I could never rest my foot on kick plate unless I contorted my ankle to a wierd angle and every time I shifted I bumped it with my left foot. They would work in a automatic fine since you never really move your left foot. But in a 5 speed, unless you got small a$$ feet, $hiz aint gonna work.

Your better off getting some custom door panels.

I've been meaning to pick these up for a minute for my 5 spd GT. Having these would allow for a 3-way soundstage in the front with either a 7" or 8" driver in each door. I found these pics online and the fit doesn't look like it would be that bad although these are from a 1999 V6 auto:

They do fit great, and they give an impressive soundstage. They just took up too much room for me- but I am a HUGE man. For someone of smaller stature, they would be fantastic.

I decided to stick with my 2-way system. I need the room for my feet.
