I have found a set of low mileage rear control arms from a 2002 GT. Will these fit on a 1992 GT? They look like they will, but I need confirmation before I drop the $$$.
Thanx

The '99 and up lower control arms have larger diameter bolts but the uppers are the same. Some don't care about the extra slop from smaller bolts but IMO I would not use them without enlarging the holes in the '99 and under mounting points and using the correct bolts.

Yes, but the bolts are bigger like was said. I got a set of Maximum Motorsports LCA for a 99-04 car cheap because they needed new front bushings. I got the bushings and crush sleeve for a Fox, since they have the 12mm bolts, so my front mount is fine. For the rear mount, I will get some new 14mm bolts and drill out the holes on my rear end housing for the larger bolts.

While the LCAs from the 02 will fit with some work I would save and get a set of nice aftermarket LCAs. They are still stamped steel which will flex when you put it under load.

Personally unless they were aftermarkets I would pass on them and save for a set of MMs or other quality aftermarket piecs. Just my .02
