Anyone around the quad city area IL or IA? Any kind of stang clubs around here? Does anyone meet at cordova or anything? Seems like most of the people are from around much larger cities.

I'm from Des Moines. Our stang club has a few members from over by the Quad Cities. www.MidwestStangs.com
I'm from Rock Island... a few buddies at work have new gt's too but we don't really get a chance to cruise... So it'd be nice to have some people to cruise with. There's a few groups of people around here that cruise, but I'm not one to drive up to strange people and be like "what's up can i hang"

Hey, i asked the same question about six months ago. I go to the University of iowa but live out in eldridge. My friends and i go and cruise when we are back, my 89 Gt, then my friends have, 99 cobra, 95 cobra, 99 GT, then a 383 Formula firebird, and a 94 Z28. We go to cordova every now and then. I might be back not this weekend but next and my friends probably will be too so there might be some cruising then.

I just looked at the calendar, i have 4 tests and a paper on the 13th so i might have to stay up here. I have been itching to drive my car so maybe i might come back on Saturday or friday night and do some cruising. If anyone wants to cruise we should set something up. ANyone have instant messenger or emails, or cells?

The pictures didn't turn out as bad as i thought they would. Too bad we couldn't have taken some pics in the day, i guess next time we get together we will have to. Maybe we can get the 99 Cobra and the 99 Gt to come this time.

Hey all, I'm in Moline and usually cruise either Friday or Saturday nights. I used to be around in a Z28, but I traded that and now have a '91 Mustang project car in the works, should be ready in a few weeks. If anyone wants to chat on AIM, that would be fine to coordinate cruising sometime.

Wow.. Way to dig up an old post! There is a pretty large quad cities post on the first page of the midwest section.. most of us are hanging out at qcaaf.com now.
