Quad shock removal?

A socket wrench and a closed end wrench? Lol, dont take them out, I made the same mistake and now they are back in the car. I took them out with the same idea that I was getting upper/lower ca's and that wheel hop would go away. Got the upper/lower ca's, wheel hop was still there, put the quads back in and I wish I had never taken them out.

The only reason I took them out was b/c I was running 275's in the rear and i figured that they wouldnt fit, well I just filpped them around and they fit fine.

Dont take them out. Unless you enjoy bone jarring wheel hop.

I have the Max Motorsports lowers and FMS heavy duty uppers with no quad shocks and have no wheel hop at all, ever.

Yeah Ive heard that with some control arm setups that change the pinion angle, wheel hop can be eliminated without the use of quads. So I may be wrong. If you dont need to take them out theres really no reason to....

Your right, I took mine out cause my slicks were rubbing them, that and I have a habit of ripping anything off the car that doesn't absolutely need to be there.

If you do get axle hop, you can always reinstall them, so don't go cutting your brackets off the axle tubes right away.
