Everybody attributes wheel hop after removing the quad shocks to quality of the LCAs, but I think UCAs and the regular shocks have a lot to do with it, as well. The springs themselves, and maybe even the wheel/tire combo also probably play into it. Just like any system in the vehicle, it takes more than just one component to make it perform.
That said, I have Steeda HD aluminum lowers, the Steeda-modified Ford uppers, FRPP "B" springs and Strange adjustable shocks. I run the wheels you see in my sig, with 275 series tires, which forced me to remove the quads. While I haven't done a John Force asphalt melting burnout with them, I have spun the tires a few times on the street and this combo has seen the drag strip. I have NO wheel hop.
