Quad shocks?

i was wondering what is the purpose of a quad shock and who makes the best replacement as far as performance or a eliminator. both mine are leaking in the rear.

they prevent wheel hop. you don't "need" them. you can take them off and if you start to get wheel hop, get new ones. i have cheap KYBs on there, nothing special.

I got rid of mine after I had a pair of Maximum Motorsports rear lower control arms installed. No wheel hop.

people normally remove them once they add aftermarket lower control arms. you just have to unbolt them.
