I am about to weld on some mounting points so I can use the quad shock system on my v6 mustang (eventual swap). Is there any scientific way to measure the exact spots the mounting points need to go.

Also, I have read that a lot of people are having tire clearance issues with their quad shock setups. Would it be more worthwhile to leave a 2 shock setup with my 8.8 with quality shock/spring combo then to go the 4 shock route? The motor that will eventually go in the car will be a turbo v8.

just put some decent lower control arms on the car and you dont need quadshocks...and if you plan on putting a turbo v8 in then youll need the strength anyways.

Most GT guys just remove their quads. As was said, a good set of LCAs such as the MM ones eliminate the need for cheesy quads.
